Position Summary:
Responsible for operational support for Tier 1 & 2 employee/manager inquiries. Identify enhancements for key HR processes and related applications. Responsible for cross-functional management of the contractor (non-employees) process and administration within Voya. Ensure that all contractor data and processes are in compliance with Operational Risk policies.
Position Description:
• Responsible for day to day operational support for key HR processes and applications related to Recruiting, Employee/Manger Self-service transactions, Time & Attendance, Absence Management, Performance Management, Compensation and Payroll. Respond to and work with the appropriate support teams to resolve inquiries received through tickets submitted via the HR Case Management Tool, Benefits Service Center and IT Help Desk. Ensure accuracy and data integrity of all HR data by following the outlined peer review/audit process.
• Stay abreast of current legislation which may impact the company benefits and/or policies.
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation for questions related to leave of absence; track and maintain status of leave requests in partnership with 3rd party vendor. Ensure highly confidential Leave of Absence files are maintained in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations. Manage pay for disability payout in conjunction with 3rd party vendor.
• Help with maintenance of HR content and reference guides on HR Portal.
• Assist with implementation of enhancements to key HR applications and related processes; ensuring system enhancements are thoroughly tested; assess impacts to employees, managers and/or HR. From time to time assist with creation of training materials and delivery of training to employees, managers and/or HR for process & system improvements.
• Responsible for contractor processing new hires, extensions and terminations. Partner with Procurement team to ensure data accuracy and data integrity between the two systems.
• Assists with developing and maintaining department's processes documentation for internal and external reference.
• Provide superior customer service to the employees and managers.
• Provide continuous feedback to peers, management, and partners about trends, processes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years HR Operations experience
• Knowledge of Workday
• Strong knowledge of HR processes
• Experience with STD, LTD, FMLA administration. Knowledge of state and federal disability laws.
• Strong problem solving, leadership, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Detail-orientated
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent customer service skills with all levels of management
