Responsibilities:
As a Diversity & Inclusion Program Consultant, you will be responsible for projects related to our diversity & inclusion initiatives including operationalizing our efforts. It's more than resource groups, it's driving strategy and scaling our efforts. It's about getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.
What does that look like?
• Assume an informal leadership role in the planning and implementation of diversity programs and processes for the purpose of attracting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce.
• Provide necessary services as required to support specific global and corporate market initiatives that align with diversity & inclusion related efforts.
• Participate in the planning, coordination and implementation of diversity sponsored events with employee resource groups and networks.
• Cultivate relationships and function as a diversity & inclusion ambassador to represent the company at events and on committees.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, plus 2+ years work experience which aligns to the essential functions outlined above.
• Project management/leadership experience required. In which you will bring the ability to manage projects through completion including effectively identifying the scope, objectives, outcomes, and success metrics.
• Ability to translate strategy into action that meets current and longer-term business outcomes.
• Ability to cultivate broad cross function/global relationships to garner support and create a foundation for future influence.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively influence others without direct authority.
• Ability to readily adapt to organizational change and successfully produce ideal outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment both within the department and across the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance time, actions, resources, and initiatives to ensure achievement of critical results, goals, and business outcomes.
• Direct experience in diversity initiatives/program development that align with business impact strategies, strategy development, and/or event sponsorship/activation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative information to draw conclusions and influence decisions.
• Ability to learn and apply fair employment practices including Affirmative Action and EEO to the campus recruiting processes.
• Must be able to exhibit a polished and professional image.
• Limited travel may be required (less than 10%, including overnight stays).
