Position Overview

The Vice President, Client Experience Lead drives revenue growth for all RGAx lines of business by working closely with senior executives of both clients and prospects to address industry challenges and positions RGAx as the innovator of choice in the insurance industry. Collaborates with RGAx senior leadership, RGA US Markets and RGA Global Accounts to execute sales strategies and tactics to increase account value. Analyzes client needs, goals, and assesses the client’s operating environment to be able to explore application of products and product suite.
Responsibilities
• Leads and manages RGAx client experience engagement efforts for all RGAx lines of business.
• Creates strategic marketing and prospecting plans in coordination with RGAx subject matter experts, line of business leads, and RGA stakeholders
• Negotiates and structures customized solutions which embody client and RGAx business objectives
• Presents products and services in a manner that demonstrates complete product knowledge and service philosophy by conveying unique selling propositions to position against competitive offerings.
• Positions RGAx as the trusted advisor by developing product usage roadmaps to assist the client in understanding current and future usage scenarios in conjunction with internal experts
• Responsible for maintaining and reporting on the pipeline through the use of our CRM system and in collaboration with sales and marketing groups across RGA, RGAx, and other internal cross-functional teams as needed during the sales process
Requirements
Education and Experience
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
• 10+ years life or health insurance/reinsurance experience
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree, MBA
• Prior life or health insurance/reinsurance sales experience
• Cross industry experience to bring innovative thinking to insurance clients
Skills and Abilities
Required:
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and CRM
• Expert investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Expert ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions
• Prior experience in managing and developing customer relationships
• Ability to implement organizational or departmental vision and goals with measureable results
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and/or teams simultaneously
• Enjoys working with individuals across a wide variety of operational and functional disciplines
• A bias for action, making timely and effective decisions
• Expert persuasion and negotiation skills with both internal/external stakeholders
• Ability to travel extensively, primarily in North America
• Willingness to reside in St Louis or Toronto (St Louis Preferred).
