A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…
• Serve as an Operational Risk Subject Matter Expert on behalf of mortgage servicing operation
• Serve as an Operational Risk liaison to various clients, present results, SLAs, findings and collaboratively create improvement roadmap's where necessary
• Work closely with operations to fully understand key operational processes
• Become an in-house expert on Key Performance Indicators, Key Risk Indicators
• Design dashboards, SLA reports and risk governance reporting packages for internal and external use
• Analyze current Key Performance and Risk Indicators, propose improvements and solutions
• Work with Operations and Information Technology on MIS automation solutions
• Work with business partners in finding effective ways to manage key risk controls and KRIs
WHO YOU ARE
You possess …
• Business Intelligence, Management Information Services experience in credit industry
• Operational risk experience in financial sector
• Mortgage servicing experience
• Prior experience with setting up KPIs, KRIs and identifying effective ways of collecting and / or calculating them
• Prior experience with designing and running executive dashboards
• Experience with creating executive, sales or board presentations
• Experience with presenting results to senior management
• The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, especially the ability to meet tight deadlines for our clients.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent planning, verbal and written communication skills.

DETAILED JOB DUTIES
• Assist Chief Risk Office with setting short, medium and long term vision and goals for the Risk Management Information area
• Analyze current processes’ and operational functionality, work with business and operational risk on design of KPIs and KRIs
• Manage and coordinate process of data, report, review consolidation for the purpose of creating Service Level Agreement reporting and external Third Party Risk Reviews
• Design management dashboards, reports and presentation decks
• Interface with key client to manage Service Level Agreement adherence process
• Develop and document procedures and business definitions for fulfillment of the Service Level Agreement process
• Participate in internal and client meetings to communicate Service Level Agreement information, KPIs and KRIs
• Formulate and document issues resolution plan, manage SLA, KPI, KRI change management process
• Work with Information Services and Information Technology on dashboard and report design and automation solutions
• Develop and maintain library of KPIs, KRIs, SLA terms, their definitions and mapping
• Establish a process to clearly communicate expectations, delivery dates and estimates to internal or external partners
• Develop and maintain of library of current or prior requests
• Develop a process to identify automatic controls and reduce dependency on manual processes and control management
• Develop or propose development of control exception reporting
• Work with the rest of the company on Business Intelligence needs and improvements
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 year degree in business administration, economics, marketing or similar
• M.B.A preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience within credit risk
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in mortgage, preferably mortgage servicing
• Experience with Management Information Systems or Business Intelligence platforms
• Experience with communication with executive management.
• Working experience in a client management field in a sales or client management capacity
• Experience with mortgage or other credit products’ servicing
• Experience with MSP, or other mortgage platforms
• Strong analytical skills
• Technical writing experience preferred
• Strong resource management skills
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, research and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
