POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director Product Management - Customer Acquisition Infrastructure will provide strategic leadership and oversight in creating and deploying strategies to drive customer acquisitionwithin Direct Investor Services through new technology deployment.
This role will face off to senior stakeholders within TIAA, particularly with the senior product owners for each respective line-of-business (IRA, Managed Accounts, Banking, Life Insurance, etc.) The Director, Product Management - Customer Acquisition Infrastructure will establish regular communication routines with key stakeholders and will work with these stakeholders to balance their needs across product lines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Director Product Management, Customer Acquisition Infrastructure will:
• Contribute to the DIS growth strategy definition
• Articulate Sales Infrastructure expansion plan (roadmap)
• Align and/or develop capabilities to meet DIS growth strategy needs
• Design and/or improve DIS processes to scale
• Operationalize change
The Director Product Management - Customer Acquisition Infrastructure will focus on optimizing digital sales infrastructure capabilities across all phases of the sales funnel. The Product Manager key product focuses will be in building and operationalizing: Suspect/Prospect capabilities, Referrals-In and Offers Fulfillment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
• 7+ years of sales infrastructure in a developing financial services business
• 10+ years of Product/Project Manager experience which includes: Delivering complex programs through plan, design, build, implement, and run
• Experience running operational functions & managing multiple business functions, such as IT, Program, Business Management
Desired Qualifications:
• Developing new Direct to Consumer business
• MBA or other advanced degree
• Developing new revenue-generating Product or Service
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or similar certification
• Talent management and development experience
• Experience in environment shifting from product/channels to customer centric (i.e. new segment business)
• Management Consulting experience
• Project Portfolio Management experience
• Management of outsourced business processes or SaaS providers
