Description
The WWM Financial Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Leadership and Finance teams with metrics and business analysis required to drive the direction of the firm. This individual coordinates a team of professionals from various departments and is responsible for the collection, normalization, and standardization of data from multiple sources as well as the creation of reports to be utilized in business planning, practice management, financial forecasting, budgeting, marketing and more. Data types include information as listed below:
• Financial Advisor Compensation
• General ledger
• Market data
• Client demographics
• Assets under management
• Business practice
• Compliance
• Direct carrier positions
Responsibilities also include:
Development and coordination of business analysis reports such as the following:
• Regional monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Regulatory reports (SEC, FINRA and OCC)
• Risk reporting
• RFP data requests
• Compliance reporting
• Budgeting
• Financial models for recruiting and acquisitions
Oversight of the Financial Advisor Compensation system including:
• Contract management
• FA compensation change controls
• Associated audits
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least five years of experience working with financial data.
• Experience with SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Services a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Data entry and data management experience.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Ability to problem-solve.
