The Marketing Campaign Analyst is a key member of the marketing support team responsible for working with various business partners and marketing agencies to develop direct marketing campaigns and support performance metrics. This role will actively review and provide critical insights and trends from the various data sources and reporting tools that are leveraged to steer business direction and performance. The incumbent will be responsible for working with members of the product and marketing strategy and execution teams to determine and refine campaign strategies, test plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as success metrics.
Major Responsibilities
• Act as key partner to multiple stakeholders across the organization in planning and executing marketing programs and campaigns.
• Serve as subject matter expert throughout the organization on available marketing campaign performance data from internal and external sources.
• Extract data from internal and external sources and work closely with marketing team to plan for campaign execution including optimization of performance over multiple delivery channels and media.
• Participate in development of targeting strategies, build marketing test plans and deliver relevant campaign metrics.
• Design, develop, and present strategic analytical models used to support marketing plans.
Qualifications
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 8+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with marketing campaign planning and execution preferably, although not required, in the financial services industry
• 5+ years of increasingly more complex responsibility in performing business consulting, financial, and/or statistical analysis and model preparation using Microsoft Excel, SAS (or comparable) preferred
• Strong analytical, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills
• Highly developed ability to partner with other business lines
• Ability to interface with Senior Management High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good understanding of statistical methodologies and their use for campaign performance measurement
• Strong understanding of relational databases and query efficiency (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Experience with SQL and extracting data out of complex databases
• Ability to work with technology partners to identify and overcome technical hurdles a plus
