Pointillist is seeking a smart, passionate, and driven Business Development Representative to join our rapidly-growing team to help take us to the next level of awesome. Pointillist is a startup-like marketing analytics technology company that builds products that allows marketing leaders to understand customer experiences across channels, programs, and over time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Research target accounts, develop target lists, and partner with key members of the sales and marketing team to create account acquisition strategies
• Conduct high volume prospecting to qualified leads, qualify prospective customers and quickly convert introduction calls into scheduled Pointillist product demonstrations with Account Executives
• Build a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with an excellent product explanation and value proposition
• Achieve monthly and quarterly call volumes, target client qualification goals, and sales pipeline targets
• Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in salesforce.com products
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:
• World-class communication skills combined with a competitive drive to meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quantifiable goals
• Strong client prospecting and market research skills and ability to create detailed target customer lists
• Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo is preferred
• Prior experience in a fast-paced SaaS-based inside sales position selling into senior levels of prospective organizations is preferred
