Role Value Proposition:
In addition to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will interview insureds, claimants and other parties to determine the facts of the loss; prepare repair estimates utilizing Xactimate estimating software; assist the customer in preparing their personal property claim; work with contractors and vendors to establish repair / replacement values; document the claims file to comply with company guidelines and state regulations; and oversee claims to conclusion. The candidate must manage their pending to comply with the company quality and production criteria, and perform other related duties as assigned or required.

• Time Management – Must be able to manage the required caseload, including pending claim and new losses. This will include overnight travel throughout the United States on a last-minute basis to assist our customers as needed.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5+ yrs. related property claims experience
• General knowledge of insurance theory and practices
• Strong communication skills (verbal, nonverbal and written)
• Strong homeowner policy knowledge
• Strong knowledge and understanding of how to appropriately document a claim file.
• Ability to establish dwelling repair estimates in excess of $100,000 utilizing Xactimate
• Ability to evaluate and successfully negotiate property claims
• Must be able to make physical inspections of property loss sites
• Must be able to work out-of- doors in all types of weather and extended and/or non-standard hours as required
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Must be able to travel up to 2 times per year for CAT duty (2 week deployment)
