Description
Reporting to the Regional VP of Talent Management, this role consults with line management on human resource-related issues across multi-charter region(s). The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Serves as a daily consultant to line management on human resource-related issues
• Counsel and advise management on problem resolution and policy interpretation when escalated from the MyHR service center
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
• Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk related to employment by investigating employee complaints, interpreting and applying corporate policies with fairness and consistency and, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
• Address issues that arise and manage up information that needs greater visibility and or Sr. Management's focused attention
• Engage with all stakeholders with a superior service orientation
• Suggests new HR strategies and ideas in support of clients and talent management objectives
• Assist the Regional VPs of Talent Management on executing HR deliverable by providing project support and metrics to multiple VPs of Talent Management.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Degree required.
• 5-10 years’ experience working in HR as a Generalist / strong employee relations background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple charters.
• Travel between regions as needed, but no less than bi-weekly visits to each charter in assigned region.
• Maintain responsiveness to all employees within assigned region/s.
• Effectively prioritize requests, respond timely and resolve issues with speed and quality.
• Issue spot and identify emerging employee trends, surfacing information to the relevant VPs of Talent Management and the HR Service Center.
• Excellent written, interpersonal communication and telephone skills.
• High degree of detail orientation & confidentiality
