Position Description

The Financial Reporting & Treasury Team plays a critical role in the delivery of Administration services to our clients and its members interact with Fund Accounting personnel, auditors, printers, clients, and other SEI personnel. This group is interested in individuals that are seeking opportunities to contribute to a closely-knit team where striving to achieve excellence is part of everything that is done.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Participate in the preparation of financial statements for various clients in accordance with the regulatory calendar.
Maintain good working relationships with clients, audit firms, vendors, and internal clients.
Support automation of various functions performed by the Administration Department.
Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Support the department in achieving departmental measures/goals.
Schedule/Facilitate kick-off meetings for each client prior to financial period end.
Prepare board materials.
Provide support in the completion of the annual prospectus update for various clients in accordance with the regulatory calendar.
Position Requirements
BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics or related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Mutual Fund or Hedge Fund industry
Experience with financial statement preparation a plus
Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
Excellent organization and project management skills
Supervisory experience a plus
Excellent relationship management skills
Detail oriented
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
