Responsibilities
Our Pittsburgh office is actively seeking an Audit Manager to work with clients with a health care / hospital concentration.
This position will be responsible for performing the following:
• Assist in managing, developing and coaching professional staff
• Accurately complete and review audit engagements (mostly for health care / hospital clients) in a manner that meets professional technical requirements
• Adequately identify audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation
• Consistently identify engagement and operating problems and provide timely solutions and consultation
• Manage multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control and within scheduled deadlines
• Actively develop referral sources
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of overall experience in public accounting audit or a relevant combination of industry / public experience required
• Active CPA certification required
• 3+ years of experience specifically working with clients in the health care / hospital fields required
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS Office suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent client relationship skills and time management skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to serve clients (roughly 30% travel)
