As a Warehouse Lending Specialist in the Funding group you are responsible for supporting Warehouse Lending Operations and ensuring the loan operations activities run smoothly and efficiently; including certifying the quality of collateral funding packages and effectively monitor customer collateral while providing high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Exhibits superior customer service and appropriate follow-up with customers and employees alike to create a successful operation of the Warehouse Lending group.
Actively participates in assuring quality control in regards to audits and certifications.
Consistently applies superior decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals, and requests funding as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits.
Assists Loan Officers and other Bank personnel as needed; and resolve inquiries or issues relating to Warehouse Lending loan operations.
Acts as the primary contact for Mortgage Warehouse customers in processing their loan funding requests, and reviewing and finding package requests so the bank can efficiently advance against the customer’s Warehouse revolving line of credit.
Initiate and generate outgoing money transfers and ensure that all transactions are properly authorized.
Averages 8-10 customers, low to medium maintenance assigned originators. Completes intermediate day-to day loan servicing requests.
Qualifications
Warehouse Lending Specialist requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) year of experience in the banking or financial industry required including loan processing, closing or a similar function; Warehouse Lending is a plus.
Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic skills and knowledge of computer terminal operations; including Microsoft Excel and Word.
