Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Strategy, the incumbent will be responsible for representing the firm in client, prospect, and consultant meetings as well as at industry conferences and functions as needed. This individual will serve as a primary investment contact for the firm's medium and larger clients to provide the investment philosophy, process and performance of specific products. The individual will also provide guidance and be involved in writing quarterly investment commentary, overseeing development and updating of current RFP responses, questionnaires and marketing materials, and prepare investment commentary for firm client letters and newsletters. Participation in sales meetings and department initiatives on an ongoing basis is also a component of the job. The incumbent will be able to articulate equity and investment process as well as asset allocation process and will be able to train existing and future sales, marketing and client service team members in all facets of the investment process. The incumbent will also work with the Director of Marketing and Product Development in product development efforts.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of the assigned product(s). Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ten or more years of industry experience. BA or BS degree required. MBA and/or CFA preferred.
