Job Description
Production Support Consultant - Lending and Trade Services
The Production Support Consultant is responsible for managing day-to-day operational services to ensure that all procedural and supported systems meet organizational standards and client satisfaction. Manages and executes projects and assigned services supported by Lending & Trade Services; including application management and incident management.
Reporting Information/Location
The Production Support Consultant is located at Auburn Hills/Livonia Operations Campus and reports to the Vice President of Production Support Manager within Lending & Trade Services, Systems Management.
Position Responsibilities:
• Supports and manages the implementation of system upgrades, enhancement initiatives for all applicable applications supported by Lending & Trade Services.
• Provides consultation and coordination of business/system requirements, test script development, test script execution, issue management and risk management aspects for system implementations.
• Interacts with various Information Technology and client areas to determine priorities, assure adequate system and other technical support for Client Area Applications.
• Manages Small to Medium sized projects involving multiple departments. Utilizes standard project methodologies and serves as representative on various project teams.
• Provides system expertise on projects, department committees and task forces representing the client and interests related to Lending & Trade Services systems.
• Manages day-to-day operations including key reporting, deadlines, and serves as the initial point of escalation to ensure issues are documented and resolved timely, or escalated further as appropriate.
• Establishes appropriate process controls to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Interfaces with various levels of management and suppliers.
• Maintains and/or creates process maps and workflows for supported applications to comply with audit and risk standards.
• Works closely with the Lending & Trade Services Systems Managers and Testing Manager for all supported applications.

Travel
Up to 10% travel
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 5 years banking experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience managing small to medium size projects.
• 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
• 2 years knowledge of Commercial Lending services preferred.
