Job Description:
The PGIM Human Resources Business and Data Analysis team partners with process, technology, and reporting teams within Global HR to identify and develop capabilities and functionality for our HR systems and data ecosystems, map out data domains and data flows, and assess data quality, security, and privacy concerns.
We are looking for a talented HR Business and Data Analyst to support growing demand for business and data analyses as part of tactical initiatives and strategic projects. You are a self-starter who can work independently, demonstrating a high level of confidence, learning agility, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. Our projects are global in nature and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with regional HR teams – this requires availability outside US working hours. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to apply these to data analyses, business system requirements and testing scenarios. In addition, you will support data security and privacy reviews stemming from organizational, policy, and regulatory changes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Gathering and documenting business requirements for tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Performing data review and clean-up of current and historical data; identifying improvements to data capture points/processes.
• Creating reports and tools for data reviews using Excel and advanced reporting tools.
• Understanding data structures and creating and running advanced queries for retrieving data.
• Creating testing plans and identify testing scenarios based on requirements documentation and data analyses.
• Finding opportunities to enhance systems and data interfaces to downstream systems.
• Peer reviewing data, requirements documentation, and test results.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Self-starter with the desire to grow and excel in a dynamic environment
• Strong learning agility skills
• Consistent problem-solving ability with acute attention to detail and sharp analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle priorities with little supervision
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to frequent change
• Demonstrable ability to work independently on multiple tasks with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and SQL programming experience
• Experience working with artifacts that are part of standard software development and process improvement methodologies (e.g., business process flows, business requirements document, testing plan, test scenarios, etc.)
• Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills
