Job Description:
• Lead the Business Banking teams in several markets to successfully execute an aggressive sales strategy to deliver on high performing sales and financial performance objectives.
• Responsible for Area's balance sheet growth, expenses, operating income, and credit quality objectives. Grow and expand the number of Primary Banking Relationships in each market.
• In conjunction with your leadership team, coach and develop the existing team of colleagues to high performance and career advancement as well as recruit the best talent within the marketplace.
• Provide feedback on Business Banking products and services and assist in the development of products to meet the needs of the Business Banking Segment.
• Provide oversight in local markets approvals, credit overrides and pricing exceptions.
• Develop strong relationships with all essential OCR partners, including Regional Presidents, Credit Partners, Treasury Management, Retail Area and District Managers, Commercial and Private Banking leadership amongst others.
• Champion and sponsor larger credit opportunities through EMT credit committee.
• In conjunction with market teams, help win new business relationships through recommending differentiated products and service solutions to team/customers.
• Leverage your market network and COI's to expand your team's market exposure and presence.
• Assist in the strategy and management of the local/regional bank, while providing leadership at the company level to successfully execute Business Banking strategies and goals.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of experience Business/Commercial Banking -5 years of which should include leading sales teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals and provide strategic direction.
• Proven ability to execute Business Banking strategic plans.
• Drive and grow revenue in the area of responsibility.
• Proven ability to grown balance sheet.
• Strong collaboration with business partners.
• Experience managing remote teams.
