Account Operations Manager

Job Purpose: Assisting and supporting the company in managing all aspects of the account evolution, including expansion (geography / scope), service levels, contract renewal, and team development.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain interface with external customers, ensuring superior delivery of all contract deliverables, including measurable value-add, innovation and continuous improvement and ‘dark green’ customer satisfaction feedback.
2. Oversee the implementation and performance of all contracted service lines, as required by the client contract and, where possible, seeking to identify and implement additional services across client’s global portfolio.
3. Coordinate regular performance reviews between customers and company, as outlines in the contract or as appropriate, to enhance the client relationship, identifying areas for improvement and managing suitable action plans.
4. Ensure the smooth integration and performance of company accounting and financial reporting services dedicated to the client account, both with respect to client facing financial reporting and the integration of company internal financial P&L management.
5. Demonstrate tangible leadership and relationship management skills both across primary client stakeholders and company Account teams (encompassing both dedicated and variable resources).
6. Ensure compliance in accordance to the company platform and CBQ Global Standards
7. Monitor lease/contract expires and proactively recommend strategic optimization opportunities
8. Participate in and engage with internal and external organizations in an effort to support the company brand, your development objectives and your client’s objectives.
9. Provide on-going feedback and communication to your client(s), focusing on overall account performance, Client Satisfaction action planning, KPIs, benchmarking, value-add and value-to-fee.
10. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Planning or related field. MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience.
2. 10+ years operational experience with emphasis on integrated real estate services, 5+ years asset/portfolio management experience.
3. Demonstrated leadership / management skills to deal with issues ranging from senior level to administrative to maintenance / engineering.
4. Strong communication, negotiating and analytical skills
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Ability to lead Change Management programs
7. Ability to manage to multi-million dollar budgets
8. Knowledge of current accounting regulations
9. Advanced MS Office Suite skills
10. Ability to balance the integration of the requirements and terms of policies and procedures with those of the client
11. Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
12. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents
13. Ability to respond effectively to highly sensitive issues
14. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style
15. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
16. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
17. Fluency in one or more languages will be an advantage
18. Demonstrate an ability to solve complex problems and deliver a variety of options in complex situations.
19. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills.
