Position Summary:
Ditech is rapidly expanding and adding in excess of 40 positions in Tempe, AZ. We are seeking highly motivated individuals for multiple Loan Servicing teams for our Cash Management group of departments. Positions for the following roles are available:
• Payment Processor
• Payoff Processor
• Cash Reconciliation & Exceptions Specialist
• Maintenance Specialist
• Reimbursement Specialist

Responsibilities within these various roles may include ensuring payments or payoffs are processed timely and accurately for our customers or performing maintenance on customer payment histories and other financials. Other roles will balance multiple daily payment posting files against servicing systems and bank accounts to ensure timely and accurate accounting of cash. Another team will research activity related to general ledger accounts, ensuring receivable and payable balances are accurate. We strive for extremely high accuracy, expect the maximum processing accuracy, while maintaining system data integrity and adherence to Company guidelines.
Additional Functions:
• Research and analyze past loan history identifying necessary adjustments that ensure the loan is being serviced appropriately - ensure complete resolution
• Accurately prepare, process, post and balance suspense funds and incoming payments from various sources
• Accurately prepare, process, and balance all payoff reports for Check 21 processing, third party items, invalids and miscellaneous payoff batches
• Perform research of variances for receivable and/or payable accounts while assisting in research of issues or variances for the Corporate Accounting group.
• Assist the Supervisor/Manager with various activities needed to bring other team members current to maintain and increase the effectiveness of the team
• Helps to ensure that all Department servicing objectives are either met or exceeded
• Demonstrate above target performance to help meet department objectives
• Ensure service level agreement deadlines are met on all processes.
• Generate checks for refunds and reimbursements
• Process corporate advance transactions activity
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent work experience. Post High School education preferred for some positions.
• Experience:
◦ 1+ years of mortgage servicing experience
◦ Knowledge of Loan Servicing practices
◦ Previous computer experience and / or knowledge required
◦ Experience working with Fidelity/MSP a plus or with other mortgage servicing systems
• Skills:
◦ Strong numeric and analytical aptitude
◦ Customer service focused with strong organizational skills and detail orientation
◦ MSP servicing platform experience preferred
◦ Previous PC and MS Office product experience and/or knowledge required
◦ Analytical, mathematical and systems savvy
