Position Description
The Sr. Operations Analyst is responsible for managing a team of associates in Lewisville, and managing a team leader and business continuity team in Jacksonville. The role involves ownership of the repossession approval process, and the charge off process. As process owner, management of innovation and improvement to these processes is critical, along with management of process documentation and training. This individual will lead multiple project initiatives at a given time. This requires a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision in an ambiguous environment.
Responsibilities include all areas of project management including project schedule, requirements definition, quality testing, process documentation, and risk/issue resolution.
He/she will serve as the project lead to Business Partners, IT groups, and vendor partners and will communicate scope, progress, and issues/risks to stakeholders at various levels.
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver solution that accomplishes the business objectives with on-time delivery and exceptional quality
• Collaborate with management and leadership to solidify project objectives and scope
• Develop and manage full scale project plans including requirements documentation and timeline creation
• Continuously manage scope and schedule throughout the project lifecycle
• Define and execute communication cadence to keep both IT and business stakeholders fully informed
• Identify and manage project risks/issues to closure and provide proper visibility to senior management
• Support the business in defining plans to ensure organization acceptance of the new solution
• Create project governance artifacts for reviews (tollgates/change requests) and ensure adherence to all Ally PMO guidelines & procedures and software development lifecycle methodology
• Comply with Change Management, Release Management, IT Risk & Compliance processes and standards
• Support process documentation for repossession and charge off processes
Qualifications
• BA or 2+ years of experience in auto finance
• 1-2 years in project or program management
• Ability to work autonomously, solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment
• Business acumen and understanding of business drivers and issues surrounding a project
• Experience delivering complex projects within budget and scope
• Experience with software development life cycles and Project Management methodologies and tools
• Superior interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Ability to negotiate and build consensus with various stakeholder groups
• Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with executive management
• Excellent presentation skills
• MS Office Suite with extensive Project, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Skills
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
• Agile and Scrum experience a plus
• SQL experience a plus
