Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for an Annuity Specialist.
Job Purpose
The Annuity Support Specialist is responsible for providing product information via the telephone to brokers, agents and policy contract holders. The position is also responsible for concierge services for trust channel clients and employee accounts.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Discusses financial concerns with policy and contract holders. Including a review of transfer requests and offering alternatives if appropriate.
• Specialists serve as broker of record for select orphan policyholders.
• Researches problems and/or opportunities to assist our brokers, agents, policy and contract holders.
• Creates new and maintains existing relationships with brokers and agents to help generate sales of Jackson products.
• Provides expertise and acts as a valuable resource to other Jackson departments.
• Performs concierge functions to establish new accounts within trust channel. Must be familiar with the necessary paperwork to establish various types of trust accounts, as well as individual and joint accounts.
• Acts as the point of contact for Jackson employees to purchase annuity contracts.
• Supports Green Team intern program.
• Assists in administering continuing education program for advisors.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Previous sales experience in investments, mutual funds, life insurance or annuities required
• Research problems and/or opportunities and ensure the issue is solved or recommend a course of action
• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proven ability to pay attention to detail and multi-task
Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 required (Series 7 and 66 qualify)
