What will you contribute?
You will report to a Regional Sales Manager on the Sales & Solution Consulting team responsible for selling front-to-back, cross-asset trading solutions to banks, insurance companies and other financial services companies.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve annual new account license revenue target.
• Generate leads through cold-calling, networking and various other prospecting techniques.
• Determine qualified leads through evaluation of prospect requirements and development of a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria.
• Development of relationships with decision-influencing, senior executives within prospect as well as client organizations.
• Must proactively own the entire sales process and be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Must be familiar with classic selling techniques and strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ year’s successful track record in selling sophisticated financial applications to large, international financial institutions or equivalent experience in a financial institution working with leading technology financial applications.
• Must be conversationally fluent within the domain of financial technology.
• Comfortable with sales cycles that are typically six months to one year (or greater) in duration.
• Within three months, ability to be self-sufficient in delivering first level presentations and propositions for Finastra solutions.
• Comfortable with standard software license agreements, and the key issues associated with such.
• Focus on qualitative selling.
• Demonstrated excellence in writing clearly, accurately, concisely and in a manner that is customer focused.
• Demonstrated presentation skills with impact.
• Proven ability to manage sales with multiple decision makers.
• Proven ability to manage internal resources to complete the sale.
• Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time.
