General summary:
This Tax Intern position will primarily work under the guidance of the International Tax team. Responsibilities will include preparation of corporate information tax returns (Form 5471) for MMC’s non-US subsidiaries, updating of corporate entity organization charts, analyzing financial statements to gather tax information, assisting with quarterly and annual tax provision analysis and miscellaneous tax projects.
Qualifications
• College Sophomore or Junior preferred (Seniors entering a graduate program also preferred)
• Work 16-20 hours per week during school semester and full time during Winter break (January) and Summer vacation
• Self-starter who can work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in local currency and USD
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
