**Morgan Stanley has multiple Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor positions available**
Work with portfolios of at least $2 million from clients located in different international markets that have strong current investments and future opportunities in the US market. Analyze investment opportunities and client needs, and recommend appropriate strategies. Build client relationships based upon developing strategies to meet their financial goals through the use of financial planning and wealth management. Identify prospective new clients and develop and cultivate the client base. Utilize a full range of wealth building, managing and preserving services throughout the Firm, including mutual funds, stocks, bonds, IRAs, credit & lending, insurance, estate planning and many other services that he may offer to his client base and the investing public. Provide advice in relation to the trading of foreign exchange, equity, debt and associated derivative securities. Provide investment advice in relation to specialized investment products such as hedge funds, real estate, private equity, mezzanine debt and infrastructure investments. Provide customized Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation advice across multiple asset classes on a global basis. Liaise with the Global Investment Solutions Group in relation to the construction and implementation of discretionary portfolio strategies. Provide access to proprietary investments for suitable clients, including Co-investment and Private Investment Club opportunities. Provide access to the Morgan Stanley network and global franchise where appropriate, including Prime Brokerage, Institutional Equity, Fixed Income, Capital Markets and Investment Banking. Leverage existing network of clients and contacts with the goal of acquiring new relationships or business opportunities. Work with Trustees, Accountants, Lawyers and other Fiduciaries to provide Wealth Management solutions for their clients. Market and sell appropriate investment products, and financial and wealth management services/products to clients. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects for business development purposes. Attend Private Wealth Advisor meetings and continuing education sessions to stay current with regard to products, services and policies. Ensure compliance with all industry rules and regulations. Create a sales and marketing strategy for new client relationships.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Business, International Relations, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years of experience as a Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Private Banking Officer, Investment Advisor, Sales Analyst, Sales Assistant, Equity Trader, Financial Advisor, Relationship Manager, or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: crafting and implementing business development plans, marketing, and new product and sales initiations including consultative sales and financial and investment advisory; analyzing financial research reports, financial statements and Bloomberg analytical tools for quantitative and qualitative assessment of financial opportunities; supporting and developing a Latin American client base; collecting and analyzing information regarding clients’ assets and liabilities, income, cash flow, and financial objectives; assisting clients with their asset allocation and financial structuring needs; building and maintaining prospective clients’ relationships and managing relationships with existing Latin American clients; performing financial analysis of companies and presenting complex sales ideas to executive-level senior management; and managing the sales process with clients, including profiling, observance of compliance rules and regulation, negotiations, developing sales approach, closing the deal, and asking for referrals.
