Description
Responsible for overseeing the setup and maintenance of new/existing products and services on FIS and other ancillary systems across the charters. This includes drafting of disclosures, identifying best practices in setting up new products to include automation and integration to all applicable systems, working with WITS and/or FIS for set up, working with Finance for GL interfaces, and ensuring procedures and QC processes are in place prior to rollout. This position will also be responsible for deposit standardization as well as new projects to enhance current platforms and ancillary systems for Retail and Operations.
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for the timely response to all product/service requests for loans and deposits, excluding rate changes
• Participate in product development to ensure compliance with Federal guidelines and regulations as well as ability for automation of terms and conditions
• Draft disclosures to meet product features as well as regulatory compliance
• Research best practices available within the core system for efficient and accurate setup
• Ensure that all appropriate approvals are obtained prior to set up/maintenance of products and services
• Responsible for communicating and training to all end users all product details prior to rollout of any new/revised products and services
• Monitor products throughout charters in order to streamline products that have been grandfathered into standard products
• Perform product/service reviews annually to ensure compliance with terms and conditions as well as UDAAP and other regulatory guidance
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of new Retail platforms and ancillary systems
• Provides support to other Bank department team members including but not limited to resolving or escalation of issues
Qualifications
• Four year College degree in Finance/Business or related field preferred
• 5 years of Bank Operations experience required
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and volume
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to review and analyze financial data and draw logical conclusions
• Knowledge of MS Office & Database software. Individual must have knowledge of core processing system, FIS, and other ancillary systems which are dependent on product/service setup and maintenance
