Position Summary
The HR Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s Human Resources function. The role is primarily responsible, under moderate to intermittent supervision, for creating reports and analyses and serving as the subject matter expert and operating resource for the company’s HRIS system, which includes performing system and feed setup, generating reports, and auditing system data and functionality.
Essential Functions
• Serve as the subject matter expert and resource for operational issues related to the company’s HRIS; partner with HR sub-functions to determine HRIS needs, completed research and leverage HRIS technology solutions to meet business needs. Ensure system business rules are set up accordingly.
• Create ad hoc reports for HR and other business partners.
• Conduct analyses utilizing formulas in MS Excel and report out the findings to management.
• Develop reports using Business Intelligence Reporting Module of HRIS and prepare quarterly and ad hoc HR metrics reports.
• Ensure accuracy of HRIS data by conducting audits, managing cases with the HRIS vendor, and staying up-to-date with system updates.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and resource for issues related to the company’s eSignature account; create necessary templates, setup and train new users as needed.
• Help ensure the correct operation of data feeds to/from the retirement plans vendor, reconcile payroll deductions and conduct annual 401k non-discrimination testing and 5500.
• Create and maintain end-user documentation for processes related to HRIS and feed operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with at least two years total experience in human resources-related role(s) within medium and/or large-sized organization(s).
• Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of HRIS systems and HR data, preferably using UltiPro.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service within a team environment.
• Strong listening skills and a high level of comprehension to conceptualize effectively, ideas into a process/tool.
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Ethical, with a commitment to company values.
Requirements
• Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
• Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
• Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
• Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
