***Please note: This position is part-time, 28 hours/week, located in Vancouver, WA.
Position summary:
This position provides support to a team of financial advisors and is a critical component of client-advisor experience. The role manages the day-to-day activities of advisors, including, but not limited to: utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of client relations, client meeting preparation and follow-up, answer the phones, meet/greet clients, perform administrative tasks, and support compliance related issues within the practice. The Office Assistant reports to and is employed by the practice and not by Thrivent Financial directly.
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Greet visitors and offer refreshments; answer, screen and direct phone calls.
• Perform routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies, processing mail, filing, and cleaning.
• Prepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects
• Review, update, and provide client information as needed for client meetings, perform appointment reminder calls, and follow through on post-meeting recommendations, research, and preparing applications.
• Drive client/member facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with client/members on behalf of the practice’s financial representatives.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, advisors, and other regional staff.
• Support event coordination through venue proposals, reservations, ordering supplies, greeting guests, and assisting financial advisors at event
• Manage CRM (Client Relationship Management – Salesforce)
• Notary signatures as needed for financial representatives
• Assisting financial representatives with prospecting activities as requested
• Other tasks as assigned
Position Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Financial services exposure preferred
• Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work
• Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
• Basic understanding of financial services and products, and desire to acquire knowledge of Thrivent Financial
• Current notary public or willing to obtain within 60 days
