National Sales Manager – Public Sector & CEM
Experian’s Data Quality business unit is looking for a talented, experienced software sales professional to join the Public Sector team as a National Sales Manager. The National Sales Manager will manage a team of individuals tasked with generating revenue for Experian Data Quality (EDQ) specifically within the Public Sector & Cable, Energy, Media (CEM) markets. Primarily this team focuses on selling at all levels of the government Local, State & Federal as well as Electric/Gas Utilities, Telco and emerging media companies. As the team’s manager, the candidate will help to evolve the department's overall strategy to deliver sustainable high performance. Success is measured by performance against a revenue target set forth by the Senior Director of Sales.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the Public Sector or CEM industries with exceptional performance in sales and sales leadership. Success in this role will rely heavily on the candidate’s ability to quickly build up credibility with an established group of seasoned sales executives. This individual who can think strategically and is adept at building and maintaining very strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization also thrives in a fast paced, high growth, results-oriented environment.

Core Responsibilities:
• Staff, train and develop a team of Account Executives with revenue targets in the form of net new logo acquisition and growing existing accounts
• Develop a business plan for a national sales territory that maximizes new client acquisition and attainment of sales goals
• Network with counterparts within Experian to uncover cross-sell and co-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing to design and implement a go-to-market strategy designed to drive both inbound and outbound opportunity identification
• Proactively communicate relevant information to senior leadership to help them understand risks and opportunities inclusive of providing accurate revenue forecasts to the business
• Adhere to all EDQ policies and best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure success of EDQ operational objectives
• Hands on management experience with full responsibility for results of direct reports
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in solution based business-to-business sales
• Proven track record of success exceeding revenue goals
• Bachelor Degree
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong work ethic and proven ability to perform under pressure
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Valid driver's license
• Eligible to work in the United States
