The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and servicing of specific accounts working in conjunction with the Producer to meet a clients’ insurance needs. This position requires direct interaction with clients, Producers, Customer Service Representatives, Marketing Department, insurance companies, finance companies and various departments within the HUB organization. P&C License is required.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist producer is gathering information from insured for new business or for updating renewals
• Expiration/Timeline Coordination
• Market new and renewal business or send to Marketing department based on threshold
• Enter New Business in EPIC
• Update Renewal Applications in EPIC according to procedure
• Compile Loss Summary
• Complete supplemental applications
• Compile information and obtain OCP, Builders’ Risk, and Flood Quotes (New Business)
• Review New Business and Renewal quotes
• Prepare premium comparisons (when not done by marketing)
• Prepare Proposals
• Bind coverage with carrier or request Marketing to bind coverage
• Prepare all forms to be signed
• Set up EPIC suspense for follow up on all processes, including policy receipt and delivery
• Complete ‘New/Renewal Procedures’ checklist
• Review applications in system for accuracy
• Review policies for accuracy using the ‘Policy Checklist’ when not given to CSR
• Review contracts for insurance requirements and certificates
• Troubleshoot problems with audits, accounts receivables, processing, coverage issues, etc.
• Prepare New/Renewal certificate of insurance for issuance by CSR
• Invoice all New/Renewal Agency Bill transactions as per guidelines
• Invoice all other Agency Bill transactions as per guidelines that are not handled by CSR
• Back up Producer
• Back up to AM not in office as directed by Supervisor
• Back up CSR
• Attend monthly AM meetings
