YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a business analyst at the Associate or Vice President to join our team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM)’s Shareholder Services organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing strategic business-related projects that involve the business processes, technology and vendors.

Within GSAM, the Global Shareholder Services group is a global sales aligned service organization that provides high quality service and solutions to clients. Through its client service model, Shareholder Services enables distribution of GSAM investment products, provides consultative services, scale and controls, all while focused on being accretive financially to the business. Within Shareholder Services, we have a team that manages a proprietary online platform that provides best-in-class reporting, analytics, trade execution and fund information across a broad spectrum of global GSAM and non-GSAM money market mutual funds.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
The responsibilities can include a wide range of activities along the entire project lifecycle and can involve a variety of different types of projects. Typical project responsibilities may include strategic roadmaps, scope definitions, requirements gathering, business requirement writing, process design, implementations, testing and, importantly, communicating status and escalating issues as appropriate. The Business Analyst is expected to interact and maintain relationships with business area sponsors, key stakeholders, as well as other key constituencies such as external system vendors and internal technology teams, taking the lead and acting as the point person for all these groups while a project progresses through its different stages, up to and through completion.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with excellent academic record
• 3+ years professional experience leading and participating in large projects
• Experience with business process improvement and business process design
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodologies
• Familiarity with different technologies (data flows, relational databases, program logic, file layouts, communication protocols, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Financial industry experience is preferred.
