This position is a blend of Business Analytics and Project Management, set in an insurance environment, dealing primarily with Personal Insurance claims.
Responsibilities
• Serve as a critical member of a project team, collaborating with business and IT to implement business solutions
• Interview subject matter experts, stakeholders and end users to analyze critical business requirements and design system solutions
• Create, define and document business requirements/User Stories/Use Cases and workflows
• Organize and lead User Acceptance Testing efforts
• Work with IT and project team to quickly resolve defects or bugs
• Work closely with external vendors, who support AIG businesses and systems
Skills/Experience
• Must have project experience utilizing Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Property/Casualty Claims—experience with a Property/Casualty Claims application is preferred
• Experience with system integration and interface projects
• Knowledge and experience with AIG a plus
• Should have Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of Business Analysis/Solution design experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Exceptional interviewing and elicitation skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word. Project and Access a plus)
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in order to effectively meet deadlines
• Interact effectively with management
• Work independently and collaboratively on large and complex projects
• Conduct unsupervised meetings with various stakeholders
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Project and Access a plus)
• Knowledge of Personal Insurance competitive landscape
