Job Description
This position is the lead analyst role for Acquisition Channel – Credit Scorecard for Prospect (CSP). Provides analytical support for the following key areas: (1) Use web analytics tool to optimize CSP conversion process; (2) Connect large scale online data and offline data for report development and ad-hoc analyses (3) Track and monitor CSP members behavior; (4) Develop targeting strategy including rule based criteria and/or statistical model. (5) Lead the test design, development and measurement. Overall, position provides customized and comprehensive statistical & analytical information, strategy & targeting recommendations for business decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Analyst for Acquisition channel – Credit Scorecard for Prospect (CSP).
Position has full cycle accountability for designing, gathering data, executing statistical and marketing analysis projects, as well as interpreting results, formulating recommendations and presenting to management.
• In additional to project responsibilities, position acts as subject matter expert by providing advice to senior management and business partners on the effective use of analytical methodologies, particularly those related to probability, decision tree, time series data, business planning & forecasting, and econometric modeling.
• Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the statistical and business impact of key variables on account acquisition and post-acquisition behavior. Proactively identify trends or developments that may impact business performance or plan, or may represent opportunities.
• Leverage advanced analytics technology (Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition etc.) to develop and enhance targeting and conversion optimization
• Continually expand & enhance analytics capability, improve process and explore/adopt new tools
Skills
Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data science, Industrial Engineering, Operations research or related quantitative fields
• Strong Excel and SQL skills. 4+ years of experience with SAS or R in UNIX and/or PC environments.
• Familiarity with Aster, Hadoop and web analytics tools like Site Catalyst. Work experience with R or Python is highly preferred.
• Experience in credit card or consumer lending industries a plus.

• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects
