Purpose of Job
Utilizes expertise, industry experience, analysis and innovation to provide insights that inform and shape strategy recommendations for internal clients. Articulates hypotheses and underlying assertions and develop fact base to test same. Leverages analytics, executes work plans, delivers final outcomes, recommendations, and action plans for the client. Effectively collaborates with LOB/Staff area project champions and key stakeholders to maximize execution likelihood and impact of the strategy.
We are currently looking for a talented Strategy Consultant I for our San Antonio,TX and Remote locations.
Job Requirements
• With limited direction/oversight develops fact base and hypothesis tree for a subset of the strategic problem.
• Participates in defining objectives for assigned components of overall strategy project execution.
• Participates as a team resource.
• Leverages data driven problem solving techniques and analytical rigor, to manipulate, interpret, and study competitive intelligence and business data to translate into insights for strategy development.
• Assists to continually refine hypotheses and areas to probe more deeply with input and guidance from more senior/experienced CoE resources.
• Prepares supporting data and detailed materials for compelling presentations to inform and influence key stakeholders.
• May participate in key stakeholder meeting updates.
• May participate in the development of strategy execution action plans.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a Business discipline required Or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• 4 or more years of business experience demonstrating proficiency in technical consulting skills.
• Or a Master's Degree in a Business or a related discipline and 2 or more years business experience demonstrating proficiency in technical consulting skills.
• Proficient knowledge in project execution environment.
• Experience in influencing business decisions.
• Proficient with Technical Consulting Skills: Hypothesis-driven problem solving; Primary Market research (e.g. interviews); Secondary Market research (e.g. desk research); Data analysis (e.g. what-if, sensitivity, etc.); Synthesis (e.g. so what?) ; Written Communications; Visual display of quantitative information; PowerPoint / Excel; Verbal Communications; Teaming

Preferred
• 3+ years of banking and/or financial services experience
• 6+ years of relevant business/corporate experience to include analysis
• Tableau experience
