Oversees multiple teams or entire business unit responsible for marketing and/or communications in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to day-to-day support of brand awareness, client acquisition, client and employee engagement. Designated Supervisory Principal responsibility at the business unit-level. Strong writing and communications skills. Maintains strong relationships with most senior leadership and industry peers to determine and disseminate impact to business unit strategies. Disseminates firm-level messages across teams. Influences the strategic planning process across business unit. Responsible for establishing the strategic vision for the business unit. Generates and considers implications for achieving long-term goals in line with firm needs. Rapidly assesses and applies effective decisions making. Industry expert. Broad marketing and communications experience. Executive visibility and participation in Pershing and industry events and media. Educates clients and shares information to build their understanding of issues, products and solutions. Communications broadly across organization. Oversees the standard operating procedures, policies and overall guidelines for the business unit. Proactively proposes firm-wide process improvements and solutions. Creates enthusiasm and nurtures innovation across the firm. Responsible for the outcome across the business unit. Establishes high standards for personal accountability. Considers and manages firm level risk. Manages the business unit and oversees multiple senior managers or professionals to include coaching, performance management and resource allocation. Models and champions firms values such diversity, teamwork, client focus, integrity and excellence. Overall responsibility for unit's financial management and approval of significant business expenses Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required; FINRA license 7 and 24 and advanced degree preferred 20+ years of related experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
