Wipfli, LLP is currently seeking an Intern to join our Corporate Finance Practice in our Chicago or Milwaukee offices.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
• Enter income statements and balance sheets into our models.
• Download and enter industry benchmark data into our valuation model from databases we subscribe to.
• Download industry and economic data and summarize key points.
• Read through data files we receive and summarize results that could be included in a report format.
• Analyze client financial data to identify trends and operational characteristics
• Assist with preparing Information Memorandums and marketing materials
• Prepare booklets for prospects and existing clients
• Utilizing databases Wipfli subscribes to download market transactions into a model.
• Prepare financial analysis on companies.
• Perform searches for potential buyers/investors.
• Assist in the set-up and maintenance of Data Rooms.
• FAO and other accounting entry input based on need in other areas.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Above average competency in accounting or finance as demonstrated by college GPA, and on-the-job performance of duties.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently and make good decisions based on education and experience.
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
• Ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Knowledge required in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
