Job Summary:
The Operations Risk Professional, Associate is in the Operational Risk Review and Challenge Team responsible for executing various duties that include reviewing RCSAs, preparation of the team’s reports to various stakeholders, and data analytics.
Major Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of the Bank's operational Risk Management Framework within the HQA (RCSA, Loss Data, Key indicators, Capital Quantifications, and scenario analysis).
• Monitor operational risk trends within HQA and provide quality analysis and support on key risk indicators, loss data, scenario analysis, issue evaluation, and other Operational Risk metrics.
• Assist in the enhancement of ORM framework including the development of scorecards and dashboards related to loss data collection, key indicators 9KRI's), capital quantification, scenario analysis, and their associated MIS reports.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of an operational risk assessment approach for HQA.
• Take a leading role in the preparation of the ORM monthly report and the Operational Risk Management sub- committee presentations materials.
• Assist in the research and best practices of operational risk management and benchmark MUFG practices against them.
• Assist in the development of the Bank's Fraud monitoring Program.
• Assist in training to business units on operational risk management requirements, including operational incidents identification and reporting into the ORM and Head Office Systems BRAMS.
• Manage the Head Office BRAMS processing and reporting.
• Develop and maintain policies and operations manuals related to the ORM framework related to Loss data, KRIs, capital quantification, and scenario analysis.
Qualifications
• 4-8 years’ experience in Operational Risk Management, including trend analysis, risk assessment, development of operational Risk MIS reports and scorecards.
• Good understanding of Banking Operations and risks.
• Capital quantification or related risk analytics is a preference.
• Strong MS Access/Excel skills, SQL, programming language is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
