Global Benefits Manager

Key Performance Areas
The Global Benefits Manager is responsible for leading the development of and the administration of global benefits for Hyperion. The manager provides benefits processes, policy and program recommendations to the VP of HR. This position will work closely with the Global HR team to agree on benefit priorities and ensures alignment between the benefit programs and the Hyperion business strategy. The Global Benefits Manager will also be responsible to assist the HR team in a total rewards package including compensation and bonus programs.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Manage the administration of all employee benefits programs in a global environment.
• Serve as subject matter expert for benefits programs and collaborate in the design, implementation and administration of global benefits offerings.
• Recommends benefits programs to management by studying employee requirements and trends and developments in benefits offered by other organizations.
• Ensures the integration and alignment between compensation, benefits and other total rewards programs.
• Supports management's decision making by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs.
• Complies with global, federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains benefit records by developing recordkeeping systems; initiating new-hire benefits; recording changes.
• Identify vendors, define service level agreements and metrics for benefits programs.
• Handle elevated employee benefits inquiries and resolve complaints when applicable.
• Responsible for annual open enrollment programs.
• Establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Coordination of the budget and forecast process for the local entity.
• Preparation and submission of State sales and use tax returns.
• Primary contact person for annual financial statement audit, tax package prepared for external tax professionals, and any local entity tax audits.
• Liaise with Treasury department to maintain bank accounts and ensure proper controls are in place.
Your Profile
You possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Finance or Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have 4 plus years’ experience in Benefits administration. Experience in Human Resources for a global organization preferred. Experience in the development and implementation of benefits programs from strategy to execution. Compensation experience a plus; global experience preferred.
