In the Sr. IT Project Manager role, you will own the development and delivery of new products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements; determining specifications; creating product timeframes and plans, and crafting marketing strategies for new product introduction. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding. These products aid clients with a range of services including customer acquisition and retention, financial and risk management, regulatory compliance, property development and management and/or managing client homeownership experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Lead all requirements gathering sessions with client, sales, ops, and technology to formulate best fit solution driving margin for FAMS
– Document stories and requirements supporting the overall client solution
– Working closely with development managers, leading the creation of high-level estimates of effort to support implementation
– Producing technical design documents that define, describe and specify solutions for customers using our core technology and products as the foundational elements. Workflow diagrams and descriptions, non-functional requirements are examples of the information expected in the solution design docs.
– Working closely with development managers and operational project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions, focusing on ensuring that all committed customer requirements are met and are implemented according to the high-level design.
– Must project a polished, professional customer facing presence driving positive brand perception
– Provide product ownership function working with technology and operations on prioritization of business and IT enhancements.
– Report out executive level updates, statuses and presentations
– Project manage overall implementation of client solution from agreement to implementation.
– Describing customer requirements and suggested enhancements to our core product teams to enable periodic integration of customer-specific solutions with the core products.
– Researching new technology and development approaches to remain abreast of current and emerging integration technologies.
Knowledge, Skills and Technology:
– Excellent understanding of distributed, multi-tier architectures and infrastructure.
– Minimum of 7 years in solid technical project management experience with a strong focus on new customer onboarding and integration
– BA in information technology or related field or equivalent experience
– Firm grasp of FAMS technology suite and product fulfillment capabilities
– Ability to facilitate / document operational workflow processes and possible process re-engineering.
– Demonstrated ability to gather detailed requirements and ask questions that lead to best fit solutions
– Working experience with Agile or other modern software development methodologies
– Strong understanding of mortgage integrator landscape both at the LOS and 3rd party level
– CSPO preferred (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
– Working experience with project management tools – MS Project, etc.
– Working experience with software development collaboration tools such as TFS, Jira, etc.
– Strong ability to collaborate and work in a matrixed, cross functional environment
– Proficient in all MS Office tools
– Demonstrated ability to mitigate and manage risk and anticipate issues for quick and efficient resolution
