Position Description Overview
Handle major Data Compromise Events instituting prudent risk management controls and strategies to minimize potential exposure/losses.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage large Data Compromise events coordinating all activity between Card Brands, Clearing Bank(s), Merchants, Attorneys and Forensic Examiners
• Implement sound risk mitigation strategies on Data Compromises including negotiating with Card Brands and large merchants to reduce or waive fines/fees or recouping of funds to prevent losses to FDMS or its Alliance partners
• Resolve issues/concerns on Data Compromises through negotiation and implement sound risk mitigation strategies to reduce, waive or recoup fines/fees to prevent losses to FDMS or its Alliance partners
• Senior Credit Relationship Manager for select portfolios reporting on results and representing Credit/Risk in the resolution of issues/concerns
• Participate in Credit/Risk Policy projects to assist in the development and refinement of Policies and Programs to minimize risk exposure on new products/programs.
Autonomy
Ability to perform duties and make complex decisions/recommendations under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
Job Requirements
• B.A. Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
• 5-10 years credit experience preferably in a Bankcard environment
• Ability to negotiate, often under adverse situations with a client’s senior level executive and their counsels
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
• Ability to perform duties and make complex decisions/recommendations under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
• Project Management-able to handle a variety of tasks at any given time
• Knowledge of Card Brand rules and regulations, especially PCI DSS is very beneficial
