Job Description
The Product Manager, Multi Asset Investments, will help position a set of OFI’s Multi Asset Investment strategies, research product/competitive trends, and drive Product Management initiatives. The product manager will ensure there is a clear and compelling marketing message for each strategy including investment process, portfolio positioning and rationale for specific holdings for each respective covered portfolio. This individual will work closely with the portfolio managers and act as a liaison on product specific matters between the portfolio management team and both internal and external constituents. The individual will also sharpen their business management skills as they will need to liaise effectively with legal, tax, marketing, board relations and other departments to help with content and address other potential issues. Key to success in this role will be the ability to think outside of the box with regard to marketing more complex strategies as well as the ability to act nimbly and re-focus quickly as business needs evolve.
Because the Product Manager acts as the central authority on their product line, this individual must have a strong understanding of the markets relating to their respective strategies. They must be perceived as a credible source of investment related information pertaining to their covered strategies. The Product Manager also works closely with CPMs aligned with their respective strategies to ensure there is coordinated activity and efficient use of Investment personnel time.

• Third Party Distribution including DCIO, Sub-Advisory, and TAMP
• Institutional including Consultant and Separate Account business
Principal Responsibilities:
• Product Marketing: Develop a message for clients and prospects re: the investment capabilities of the team’s various strategies. This includes playing a prominent role in creating and reviewing marketing and meeting materials. Own quarter-end and ad hoc updating of marketing resources for designated investment strategies. Liaise with the firm’s various marketing and RFP teams to ensure all data and responses regarding a given product are accurate and appropriate.
• Product Management/Infrastructure: Act as strategy owner within the business unit. Work with legal, compliance, accounting and trading functions on matters relating to the covered strategies. The Product Manager should endeavor to isolate PMs from these matters; exercising judgment as to if/when the PM should be involved. Additionally, the Product Manager should be involved in product-related initiatives including market alignment, and product line rationalization as they pertain to each specific OFI Distribution Channel (i.e., Retail, Institutional, Private Bank, RIA, and Third-Party businesses). The Product Manager also owns strategy level data relevant to the product, marketing and distribution process for each respective strategy.
• Investment Team-Related: Work closely with the team’s PMs to become deeply knowledgeable of each product. The Product Manager must have an intimate knowledge of the investment philosophy and process of each investment product supported. This would include a detailed understanding of current investment themes being represented within the portfolio, knowledge of all portfolio holdings, risk attributes of the strategy, past and current positioning of the portfolio, near-term outlook for the strategy and performance attribution. Support distribution with training, large conferences, meeting support. Manage the ongoing internal and external experience for our products and work with marketing to support fund specific content. Provide expertise and content to support e-distribution site.

• Superior analytical abilities
• Good influence management skills in interacting with various constituencies within the firm
• 5 to 8 years of related experience
• BA/BS degree required; MBA/CFA preferred
