This role sits within the Field Strategic Services (FSS) group, which focuses on transformational platform strategies and new technology products to give Financial Advisors (FAs) and their support staff better tools to serve their clients. The Strategic Client Onboarding (SCO) team within FSS is seeking an experienced and disciplined Program Manager with a passion for identifying and executing continuous process improvements.
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is working to continuously modernize its Wealth Management Branches. The Program Manager of Strategic Client Onboarding will build-out and oversee Project Management Office. S/he will assist the Product Managers with assessing risk, program status, defining key performance indicators and other metrics that will track success of implementations.
The ideal candidate is a process and detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills and experience in user-facing technology implementations and/or in wealth management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage program delivery ensuring clear communication regarding priorities,
progress, schedule and assessment of risks and issues
• Create and publish program status dashboards to enable transparency across
a broad set of teams and stakeholders
• Work in partnership with product owners, technology and designers to create
and consolidate a portfolio strategy
• Collaborate closely and build relationships with business partners and key
stakeholders
• Help to create and regularly review key performance metrics to inform decision
-making and track success of the program
• Collaborate with Field Engagement on developing and flawlessly executing
engagement plans
Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree with strong academic record
Skills Required:
• Knowledge of / experience with Wealth Management strongly preferred
• Self-starter with exceptional project management skills and the ability to work
independently and in a group to drive projects to completion
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced
environment
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate in both business and technical
contexts including managing relationships with other teams
• Strong analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with employees across a diverse range of functional groups
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Must be able to understand high level technical design of systems
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
