Possibility of temporary to hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handles inbound calls on a queue system.
• Assists clients and employees with various claims and benefit issues.
• Communicates with employers, employees, and medical providers to resolve benefit issues.
• Helps educate client employees on how to maximize their plan benefits.
• Documents all activities to insure accurate reporting of plan issues.
• Provides timely resolution of issue.
• Presents a knowledgeable, professional, and helpful image on behalf of the company.
• Respond to all phone calls and inquiries no later than 24 hours after receipt.
• Handles other duties and tasks as deemed appropriate by the Supervisor or Manager.
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
• Requires a high school education.
• Experience in healthcare claims processing, or benefits administration is desired.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Requires good communications (written and verbal), mathematics, and computer skills.
• Must be a team player and have good interpersonal skills and be willing to go the extra mile for our clients.
• Must be able to develop the procedural knowledge necessary to properly handle benefits issues.
• Must be able to efficiently gather pertinent information and facts as required and have good problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to successfully deal with multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and to complete assigned tasks on time and with optimal accuracy.
