JOB SUMMARY:
A Business Intelligence Support Analyst is responsible for the direct support of our internal and external customers. This person will be able to comfortably discuss business and technology; assisting in driving and prioritizing competitive enhancements and solutions. As a subject matter expert, the individual will provide education and support when appropriate, as well as identifying opportunities to make product or service suggestions based on a customer’s needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Business liaison to meet with internal and external customers, assisting in driving and prioritizing competitive enhancements and business intelligence solutions (some travel required)
• Document interactions, creating accurate and up to date records
• Communicate and provide information to develop new business intelligence service offerings, content creation, value propositions, and technology approach
• Offer training solutions, automating where possible (videos, newsletters, etc.)
• Rollout of new features
• Leads system consultations; ability to utilize all system reporting tools on behalf of the customer providing education, analysis, and recommendations.
• Regional user groups (or annual conference) to provide additional training and communication feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience
EXPERIENCE:
• 3 to 5 years; or combination of education and experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to comfortably and confidently interact with customers
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with documentation and training
• Able to provide demonstrations, presentations, and training either in person or remotely
• Ability to create and run reports or other data visualization
• Comfortable quickly learning and understanding new technology
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of insurance industry
• Knowledge of current business intelligence technological solutions; able to learn new systems and tools easily
• Prior Risk Management Information System (RMIS) knowledge a plus
• Experience with creating reference material and training content
• Advanced knowledge of excel (or equivalent), good math skills
