Overview
The Marketing Technology Analyst is responsible for the coordination, execution and day to day management of projects within the marketing department in accordance with project deadlines. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, consultants and internal IT staff in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will work with management and marketing channels to define a project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
You would be great in this role if you love learning about new technologies and enjoy the challenges with fixing a wide array of issues that technology can bring. We are currently searching for a highly talented individual to join our marketing team in Camas, WA or San Mateo, CA.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Manages all phases of marketing projects from initial design through deployment completion
• Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Identifies, creates and manages all documentation necessary to support and improve business processes, including project vision and scoping documents
• Assist with creation, implementation, testing, and ongoing monitoring of new custom tags/pixels
• Identifies, creates and manages all documentation necessary to support and improve business processes, including scoping documents, test plans
• Communicate business changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to senior management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are fully understood
• Interacts with all levels of IT staff or third party vendor to coordinate time estimates, prioritization, business requirements and implementation schedules
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in marketing technology or IT
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience in tag management platform (Tealium preferred)
• Requires excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to read, write and troubleshoot JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity of web debugging tools like Chrome Dev Tools or Firebug
