Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain a product backlog that represents a vision of what is to be built, ensure features and functions are prioritized by business and technical value, and serve as a source of knowledge on the product for other team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of how the product functions, how it is currently used, and what is needed for it to meet future business and technical objectives
• Elicit requirements and acceptance criteria (in various forms) for product functions and features ensuring firm and team standards are followed and that there are always sufficient, ready-for-development features within the product backlog
• Coordinate with customers and IT to constantly prioritize requirements within the backlog based on highest value to the product, managing dependencies between requirements where needed
• Clearly communicate product needs to the Product Team, splitting/clarifying work where needed to facilitate estimates
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels
• Demonstrate functionality in product demos and determine whether commitments have been met, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, as needed
• Understand the vendor landscape for like products and serve as a catalyst for transitioning to new products when appropriate
• Provide elevated product support, subject matter expertise, and occasional project management duties, as needed
• Maintain product documentation, including product roadmap (product updates), product and process workflows, and training documentation
• Act as contact on vended applications regarding roadmaps/future functionality and coordinating contracts and SOWs

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of product management, business analysis, or systems analysis experience required; or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining product backlogs and driving products forward to better meet objectives
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, product team members, internal clients, and consultants
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and solve complex problems
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile frameworks and tools
• Ability to identify and provide solutions for improving current practices
• Ability to understand and query data using tools such as Toad or MS Access
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or general Business Intelligence or CRM platforms (preferred)
