Overview
Sentry is expanding our Digital Marketing team! If you have a passion for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) – including Pay Per Click (PPC), experience and proven success with developing digital strategies, analysis and reporting on key metrics – this is an exciting opportunity to help build a growing area within a Fortune 1000 business. In this role, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver effective digital programs to support the integrated marketing programs for Sentry’s business groups, while staying abreast to the latest trends and technologies.
What You'll Do
In this position, you will be responsible for understanding the unique objectives of Sentry’s business groups, developing, implementing and measuring comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve them. You will be responsible for leading the execution of SEO/SEM/PPC strategies and daily management of the programs. You will accomplish these critical initiatives by:
• Develop, implement and overseeing comprehensive digital strategies and programs that meet business objectives and integrate with offline marketing programs.
• Establish best practices and be a catalyst for change in the adoption of these across business units.
• Serving as the project lead for SEO/SEM/PPC programs and tactics from concept through execution
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Continuously monitor and report impact of Search Engine algorithm updates
• Consolidate metrics and provide ongoing reporting and analytics to senior level management, and provide guidance for program optimization.
• Collaborate and coordinate with developers to optimize Web site architecture, server configuration, or page construction for search engine consumption and optimal visibility.
• Collaborate across functions and teams to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
What it Takes
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience - emphasis in marketing, communications, advertising or related field is required
• 5-8 plus years of related work experience.
• Effective presentation skills and the ability to communicate with various audiences, including executives in a persuasive manner.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with SEO and PPC platforms (specifically Google Adwords)
• Extensive experience and knowledge of effective SEO/SEM/PPC marketing strategies with demonstrated creativity and a strong background in digital marketing or eCommerce.
• Experience with SEO/SEM platforms, implementation and management of SEO/SEM/PPC marketing programs, measurement & analytics
• High level of proficiency in Excel and data manipulation, data reporting and visualization focused on business intelligence.
• Proven experience to think strategically and align marketing plans with business objectives.
• Thought leadership and the ability to manage numerous priorities of high visibility programs.
• Strong analytical skills to ensure clear analysis and sound data based decision-making.
• The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment
