Responsibilities
The Senior Program Manager’s primary purpose is to lead and oversee high priority strategic, risk, and process related projects and programs in all areas of Services which can impact other business areas. A key focus is leading Service’s process optimization efforts.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:
• Manage projects and programs for the Services Organization which includes projects that address strategic priorities, eliminate/minimize risks and identify process improvements
• Conduct end to end reviews of processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage executive status updates and stakeholder communications including risks, issues and pending decisions on the programs/projects assigned
• Identify and escalate risks and issues within projects and programs
• For programs, identify and report on cross project impacts and dependencies
• Oversee expenses related to projects/programs
• Develop executive presentations
• Perform ad-hoc analyses
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Qualifications include:
• College Degree in a related area and MBA a plus
• Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management and similar certifications
• Experience with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 10 years program and project management experience in support of financial services industry or other related experience in financial services industry
• Experience working across functional and business groups in support of major initiatives
• Ability to break down barriers and build consensus among program/project team members
• Ability to quickly learn new areas and processes
• Successful track record of implementing programs/projects on time and within budget
• Good listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Record of successful sponsor and stakeholder management
