Description
This position will provide human resources direction and senior-level support to designated firmwide service areas of the firm. This role will partner with key leaders on strategic and tactical matters related to the firm’s talent including but not limited to performance management, talent assessment, employee relations, compliance and employee engagement. Additionally, this position supports the CHRO as a key business partner to navigate employment matters, conduct policy review, perform diligence and integration efforts in the area of M&A and performs other projects as assigned. The Manager has national responsibility to ensure that all HR services are delivered in a consistent and timely manner.
Essential Job Duties:
• Deliver outstanding internal client service for all levels of talent for the firm that is consistent with the Sikich core values
• Serve as a change management champion and leader with strong emphasis on operations and productivity improvements through continuous process improvement implementations in the areas of human capital management
• Serve as a strategic partner with leadership teams to accomplish business objectives by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
• Participate and lead talent review process and proactively engage Partners regarding employees in promotion queue.
• Lead research to benchmark salary/bonus norms for the professional services industry.
• Review annual compensation and provide recommended salary/bonus adjustments for approval
• Assist in development of communications surrounding performance management processes, HR programs and other areas of support
• Run point on performing engagement surveys, exit interviews, reporting and other tactical HR support as a measurement of functional progress
• Partner with talent acquisition and learning teams to collaboratively identify solutions to providing best in class human capital management strategies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organizational Behavior, Communications, Learning and Development or other Business Degree.
• Master’s Degree preferred
• PHR or SPHR credentials preferred
Other key requirements include a minimum of 7 years in an HR role supporting a growing organization. Prior experience supporting employees in professional services, with preference to candidates who have expertise in supporting a matrixed consulting organization. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership, people management and relationship building skills. Must have demonstrated knowledge of all areas of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent HR generalist knowledge with expertise in at least 2 HR functional areas i.e., leadership/organizational development, compensation/benefits, recruiting and/or employee relations. Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, change management/implementation, grievance management, employee coaching and counseling. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate; resolve conflicts, and effectively coach employees, managers and executives. Keen sensitivity, and demonstrated ability to establish respect, credibility, and trust at all levels of the organization. Ability to engage and support a growing remote workforce a must. Must possess organizational effectiveness in identify new ways of working to do more with less, nimble execution and high collaboration.
