Role Value Proposition:
The Global Technology & Operations (GTO) department within MetLife is seeking a Senior Business Planning and Strategy Consultant to help manage end-to-end operating reviews, change management and employee engagement efforts within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO). The CAO drives management and accountability for MetLife’s business objectives across real estate and corporate services, global corporate security, global enterprise program management and various GTO operating units.
This role seeks a self-motivated, ambitious and dedicated individual with the ability to support a strategic agenda in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be analytical yet pragmatic, with strong business judgment and excellent presentation skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a team member are important characteristics for this individual. Candidates must possess a "can do" attitude: the ability to enthusiastically take ownership for an assignment, prioritize effectively and ultimately drive the project to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive monthly operating reviews - Proactively pursue sources of data and insight needed to complete analysis, ensure pace of progress and completion
• Support development of strategic presentations and CAO leadership communications
• Support planning and coordination of employee engagement initiatives such as townhalls, and rewards and recognition program within CAO
• Maintain and manage CAO leadership events calendar
• Build strong working relationships, stakeholder support, and credibility at all levels of the organization
• Support external orientation through research and benchmarking of relevant trends
• Support department wide events from planning to execution
Required Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years broad experience in a strategic role, preferably in the consulting industry
• Ability to enthusiastically support projects
• Excellence in oral and written executive presentations
• Ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative global team environment
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial skills
• Change management experience
