Digital Analyst Sr to Lead
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the advancement of our analytics capabilities in our digital consumer channels. You will work in a fast-paced, fun, and constantly evolving environment, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities. While prior experience will be looked at favorably, your eagerness and ability to learn will be essential to success in this position. To excel, you must be comfortable working in new situations, solving problems, and making important decisions with incomplete information. As a Digital Analyst Senior/Lead you are responsible for maintaining and improving the instrumentation, data collection, and analytics of one to two digital channels (such as websites and native apps). You will work with both code and data, leveraging a mix of analytical and technical skills to help us measure and understand how prospects and/or customers interact with us digitally. Our Digital Analyst Senior/Lead will collaborate directly with IT resources to implement event tagging and process monitors. This person is recognized at Progressive as a subject matter expert in digital instrumentation and analytics.
As a Senior Digital Analyst, you will be focused on:
• Working closely with developers and testers to implement, validate, and maintain analytics and reporting
• Leveraging multiple technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Splunk, AppDynamics, Kafka or similar products) to produce actionable insights related to customer behavior, application performance, and risk management
• Supporting projects to improve the instrumentation of our digital channels
• Partnering with business and IT resources to improve our ability to measure and evaluate customer experiences
• Consulting with internal customers to understand analytics needs and to help define project scope and deliverables
• Partnering with project resources to develop detailed analytics requirements and test strategies
• Finding and resolving analytics implementation issues, including working directly with vendors as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Education requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business) and 5+ years analytical experience
• 2-3 years of prior experience tagging and reporting using Google Analytics/Google BigQuery/Google Tag Manager or a comparable digital analytics suite and cloud provider
• Understanding of A/B testing methodologies
• Strong data-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with a proven track record of collaboration and driving results
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task across multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to prepare detailed reports
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
